Erica Albright (Rooney Mara) is a young female student from (BU) Boston University, who at the beginning of the film is dating Mark Zuckerberg.
She is first seen in the very first scene of the film where she is at a bar with Mark having a conversation. The conversation, which starts out about final clubs, starts normally but descends into an argument where Mark insults her intelligence and education, where after she breaks up with him.
